1. What does a premium setting on ads mean?
Setting a premium for your ad means your offer is at a floating (or variable) price. You can set either a premium or a discount.
2. What do maximum and minimum price protection mean?
For buying ads:
The highest price helps maintain stable profits amid drastic price fluctuations. Your ad will be hidden if the market index price exceeds this maximum price.
For selling ads:
The lowest price helps maintain stable profits amid drastic price fluctuations. Your ad will be hidden if the market index price is below this minimum price.
3. Why does it say my balance is insufficient when I post a sell ad?
To ensure smooth transactions, posting a sell ad requires having the corresponding amount of digital assets in your Funding Account.
4. Why can't my ad be listed?
If your ad can't be listed, check the following:
- Make sure your account is not under a 24-hour withdrawal restriction period. Recent changes to your security settings (such as Google 2FA, trading password, linking a phone number, etc.) will temporarily prevent you from listing or posting new sell ads for 24 hours.
- If you’ve exceeded the maximum of 6 ads to be listed for each cryptocurrency.
- If your available balance is less than the minimum order limit.
- If you’ve exceeded your daily limit. Ads will be hidden (including completed, in-progress, and under appeal orders) once the transaction amount reaches the daily limit; while unpublished ads cannot be listed.
- Your ad was taken down for including sensitive words like "onchat/inchat/whatsapp etc." If detected by KuCoin, your ad will be automatically delisted. Remove these words and repost your ad.
5. Why do ads need to be listed after posting?
Upon posting, ads are in an unlisted state. You may then choose to edit or list it.
6. Why isn't my posted ad showing?
When a merchant's daily transaction amount reaches the limit, listed ads will no longer appear in the ad listings, and unlisted ads cannot be listed.
Why was my advertisement taken down and I received a "Operation too frequent, please try later" message?
Due to risk control measures, we have placed a limit on the number of times a seller can modify their advertisements each day. If you modify your advertisements more than thirty times in a day, you will be unable to post new advertisements. We appreciate your understanding.
7. How do I delist an ad? What happens if there are ongoing orders while delisting?
Manage Ads displays all your posted ads, with the data updated in real time.
For listed ads, you cannot modify or delete their payment methods. If you need to change the payment method in an ad, it must first be delisted. Before delisting, ensure there are no ongoing orders. If you find yourself unable to complete an order in the ad for a period, consider hiding it. After hiding, others will be unable to see your ad in the ad listings.
An ad cannot be delisted if there are unfinished orders.
If a merchant's transaction amount reaches their daily limit, the system will hide their posted ads. Their hidden ads can be found under the Unlisted Ads tab.
8. Why was my ad hidden?
Your ads will be automatically hidden if your number of appealed orders or the amount involved is too large.
Once the number of appealed orders or the appeal amount returns to a reasonable range, your ads will automatically show again.
