If you have lost your Google 2-step verification code and can't log in to your KuCoin account, the two methods below could help you.
Option 1: Reset Google 2-step verification code with Google Secret Key.
If you save your Google Secret Key and cannot log in to your account, please re-bind Google 2-step Verification with the key in your mobile application "Google Authenticator". After rebinding, you can directly enter the 6-digit verification code to log in to your KuCoin account.
***For old device***
<1> Please delete the original KuCoin account on your mobile Google Authenticator application, and re-bind it with the Google Secret Key.
<2> Then, you can uninstall the Google Authenticator application, then re-install it and rebind your KuCoin account to it with the Google Secret Key.
Delete the original KuCoin account on the Google Authenticator application.
Rebind Google 2FA with the secret key.
Enter the 6-digit verification code into the input box. You can now log in KuCoin safely.
***For new device***
Please download the Google Authenticator application and bind your KuCoin account to it with the Google Secret Key by following to Step 2 and Step 3.
Option 2: If you lost your device or uninstall the Google Authenticator, and never store google secret key (16 digits), please click “Google verification unavailable？” by referring to the video. （The video shows the old version）
After completing the above steps, please upload the requested ID information. Once we have verified your information, the Google 2-step Authenticator will be disabled for your account in 1-3 business days.
