Starting from October 1st, 2024 (UTC), each virtual and physical KuCard will be subject to an inactivity fee if no transactions are made within 90 calendar days following the card activation date. Below are the details:
Effective Date: From October 1st, 2024 (UTC), any activated KuCard that has not had any transactions for 90 consecutive calendar days will be charged an inactivity fee.
Deduction Account: The fees will be deducted from your accounts including funding, trading and savings accounts. If we fail to deduct it following the period of 90 days, the card will be automatically closed.
Inactive Fees (Monthly):
Card Type | Inactive fees |
First Virtual Card | 3 EUR |
Second and Subsequent Virtual Cards | 3 EUR |
First Physical Card | 3 EUR |
Second and Subsequent Physical Cards | 3 EUR |
What can I do if I want to waive the fee?
- Complete a transaction within 90 days of the inactivity window
- Terminate the cards you don’t need. For more information, please refer the Q.10 on this page here
Note:
- If you complete any transaction with the card before deactivating, the fee will be waived, and the 90-day period will reset.
- The fee will be charged on your first deduction date and then on the same date each month. If the date doesn’t exist in a month (e.g., February 31st), the deduction will occur on the last day of that month. The 90-day period will reset until a transaction occurs.
- The system will notify inactive users 7 days before each deduction. Please check your mailbox regularly for updates.
